Refrigeration performance

Keeping cold steady

Good refrigeration keeps temperature steady, air moving evenly, and food protected without demanding attention.

SEE HOW WE TRACE A COOLING CHANGE

When that balance changes, the symptom is only the starting point. Warm shelves, frost, or longer run times can point to airflow, defrost, sensing, sealing, or refrigeration performance elsewhere in the system.

We check temperature control, airflow, fans, sensing, defrost, doors and gaskets, drainage, controls, condenser and evaporator performance, and the sealed system as one connected environment.

The goal is stable, dependable cooling again.

Refrigeration designed around the way you live

Miami kitchens can center on French-door, side-by-side, top- or bottom-freezer, built-in, column, or undercounter refrigeration, with outdoor zones extending cold storage beyond the house.

We match the repair to the appliance, its installation, and the space around it.

FRENCH-DOOR REFRIGERATORS

When a French-door refrigerator drifts in temperature, changes ice production, or cools sections differently, we trace airflow, sensing, controls, defrost, water, and refrigeration performance across the complete unit.

SIDE-BY-SIDE REFRIGERATORS

For side-by-side refrigerators, we compare both compartments when cooling becomes uneven, food freezes where it should not, or one side cannot hold the selected temperature.

TOP- AND BOTTOM-FREEZER REFRIGERATORS

Top- and bottom-freezer refrigerators still rely on precise temperature control, open airflow, dependable defrost, proper sealing, and stable cooling.

BUILT-IN REFRIGERATION

Built-ins sit inside the kitchen architecture, so panels, ventilation, cabinetry, flooring, water connections, clearances, and safe access all matter during service.

REFRIGERATOR AND FREEZER COLUMNS

Refrigerator and freezer columns require attention to temperature, airflow, controls, ventilation, panels, and installation conditions.

UNDERCOUNTER REFRIGERATION

Undercounter units live inside cabinetry, making ventilation, alignment, access, sealing, and temperature performance especially important.

START WITH THE SYMPTOM

Describe what your refrigerator is doing differently

You don't have to diagnose the refrigerator before calling us. Describe how its temperature, sound, cooling, ice production, or cycling has changed, and our technician already has a useful plan to begin.

WHAT THIS CAN INVOLVE

Not cooling or running warmer than the selected temperature

A warmer refrigerator is a symptom, not a component diagnosis. We look at how temperature, airflow, sensing, cycling, and refrigeration performance are working together before defining the repair.

01Temperature sensing
02Airflow and fans
03Defrost / frost conditions
04Refrigeration performance

The visible symptom gives us the starting point. Testing tells us where the repair belongs.

Request service

Share whether the change appeared suddenly or developed gradually, and include anything that happened around the time it started. We’ll take the technical diagnosis from there.

Today matters when the refrigerator is warming

When a refrigerator is warming, timing matters. We schedule Miami calls around ZIP code, equipment, symptoms, and where our technicians are already working.

If a same-day opening fits the route and equipment, we’ll offer it; otherwise we’ll give you the earliest appointment we can realistically keep. Fast service still means matching the call with the right refrigeration experience.

Refrigeration service in a finished kitchen

Premium refrigeration deserves equally thoughtful service

Premium refrigeration often sits directly against custom panels, stone, flooring, millwork, water connections, ventilation, and precise clearances.

We plan access first, protect the surrounding finishes, and work with the installation rather than against it.

Our technicians service supported premium, built-in, integrated, column, drawer, and undercounter refrigeration across leading luxury brands.

OUTDOOR REFRIGERATION REPAIR IN MIAMI

Take beautifully dependable cold outside

Miami living moves from the kitchen to the patio, pool, grill, and outdoor bar. Purpose-built outdoor refrigeration keeps ingredients, drinks, frozen essentials, and ice close to where they are used.

We service supported outdoor-rated refrigerators, drawers, beverage and wine refrigeration, and ice equipment, while accounting for the installation around the appliance.

EXPLORE OUTDOOR REFRIGERATION
Outdoor-rated refrigeration is built for life beyond the kitchen

Outdoor refrigeration is its own engineering category, built for conditions such as heat, humidity, moisture, salt air, and changing outdoor temperatures.

Sub-Zero

Sub-Zero

Sub-Zero outdoor models: weather-resistant construction.

DESIGN PRIORITYPrecise temperature control
OUTDOOR CONTEXTWeather-resistant construction

Designs differ by brand and model, but outdoor equipment should always be diagnosed as outdoor equipment.

Sophisticated outside. Serious refrigeration underneath

Outdoor refrigeration may sit beneath stone, inside stainless cabinetry, or beside a poolside bar, so service has to respect both the equipment and the finished space.

Before disturbing the installation, we account for ventilation, clearances, cabinetry, alignment, electrical and water connections, drainage, exposure, nearby cooking equipment, and access.

Outdoor refrigeration for the way Miami entertains

OUTDOOR UNDERCOUNTER REFRIGERATORS

For undercounter units, we check airflow, condenser performance, temperature control, sensing, sealing, controls, and the installation around the cabinet.

OUTDOOR REFRIGERATOR AND FREEZER DRAWERS

For refrigerator and freezer drawers, we focus on ventilation, alignment, drawer sealing, temperature performance, and surrounding cabinetry.

OUTDOOR BEVERAGE AND WINE REFRIGERATION

For beverage and wine refrigeration, we check temperature, airflow, controls, sealing, drainage, and refrigeration performance in the exterior setting.

OUTDOOR ICE EQUIPMENT

For outdoor ice equipment, we trace production problems through water supply, filtration, temperature, drainage, sensing, controls, and refrigeration.

Miami weather changes the conditions around outdoor refrigeration

Miami heat, humidity, rain, cleaning moisture, coastal air, nearby grills, and enclosed cabinetry can all change the conditions around an outdoor refrigerator.

We evaluate those conditions together with ventilation, alignment, surrounding heat sources, and the refrigeration system itself.

COMMERCIAL REFRIGERATION IN MIAMI

Cold that keeps pace with the business

Commercial refrigeration has to hold temperature through long hours, repeated door openings, changing product loads, and the heat of a working kitchen. When cooling changes, the repair has to protect both the equipment and the operation around it.

Fridge Repair Today provides Miami commercial refrigeration service for qualifying self-contained, factory-sealed equipment used by restaurants, cafés, bars, hotels, bakeries, markets, convenience stores, and hospitality operations.

Commercial refrigeration equipment

Commercial refrigeration we service

REACH-IN REFRIGERATORS AND FREEZERS

Self-contained reach-ins depend on stable temperature, airflow, defrost, door sealing, drainage, controls, and refrigeration performance through heavy daily use.

UNDER-COUNTER REFRIGERATORS AND FREEZERS

Self-contained under-counter units place commercial cold close to the work. We account for ventilation, heat load, sealing, controls, installation, and refrigeration performance.

COMMERCIAL ICE MACHINES

For qualifying self-contained ice machines, we diagnose water delivery, filtration, freezing, sensing, harvest, drainage, controls, and refrigeration performance as one production system.

BEVERAGE AND VENDING COOLERS

Qualifying self-contained beverage and vending coolers are checked for temperature stability, airflow, doors, controls, drainage, condenser condition, and refrigeration performance.

Choose the qualifying self-contained equipment in front of you to see the service focus.
COMMERCIAL SERVICE SCOPE

Our commercial refrigeration service covers self-contained, factory-sealed refrigeration and cooling equipment with a refrigerant charge of 5 lbs or less — for example, commercial reach-in and under-counter refrigerators/freezers, self-contained ice makers, and beverage/vending coolers — serviced in accordance with EPA Section 608 (Type I) requirements. We do not perform refrigerant-circuit service on walk-in coolers/freezers, remote or rack refrigeration systems, or other equipment outside this scope. Ask us before booking if you're not sure whether your equipment qualifies.

Installation boundaries

Installation & plumbing notice: We reconnect appliances to existing connections — a standard outlet and an existing water-supply valve. We do not do new gas-line, new electrical-circuit or hard-wiring, or plumbing work, and we do not install water-treatment systems or water softeners. Those jobs belong to licensed trades, so please hire a licensed plumber or electrician for them.

When commercial cooling changes, downtime has a real cost

A reach-in, under-counter unit, ice machine, or beverage cooler that cannot hold proper conditions can interrupt prep, service, inventory, or guest operations. We focus on clear diagnosis and the earliest realistic Miami appointment for equipment inside our service scope.

Same-day commercial appointments may be available based on equipment, ZIP code, route, and technician schedule.

Commercial brands, commercial workload

We work with commercial refrigeration brands found across Miami foodservice and hospitality, while keeping every booking inside the self-contained equipment and refrigerant-charge limits below.

Yes, within our EPA Section 608 Type I scope. We service qualifying self-contained, factory-sealed commercial refrigeration with 5 lbs of refrigerant or less, including reach-in and under-counter refrigerators/freezers, self-contained ice makers, and beverage/vending coolers. We do not perform refrigerant-circuit service on walk-ins, remote systems, or rack systems.
Our warranty is up to six months on completed repair work. We’ll explain the applicable coverage with the completed service.

Temperature is the result you see. Sensors, fans, controls, doors, gaskets, and the refrigeration system all work together to create it.

Because one fault can appear somewhere else, we test the systems connected to the complaint before deciding what actually needs repair.

Age alone does not decide whether refrigeration should be replaced. The failed component, overall condition, service history, parts availability, installation, and previous repairs all matter.

For premium built-ins, outdoor refrigeration, and commercial equipment, cabinetry, panels, utilities, capacity, installation, and downtime can also change the equation.

Once we know what failed, we can explain whether repair still makes sense and what is driving that decision.

A healthy ice system keeps the bin supplied as water delivery, freezing, sensing, harvest, and drainage move cleanly from one cycle to the next.

When production slows or stops, we check water pressure, filters, inlet valves, fill tubes, temperature, sensors, controls, drainage, and refrigeration performance.

We diagnose the ice system together with the refrigerator or ice machine it belongs to.

Previous service gives the next visit useful context: what was replaced, what changed before, and whether a pattern is developing.

That continuity is one advantage of a family-run local company: every visit can benefit from what we already know.
